YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy
Notice.
Last updated: 13 October 2026. This notice covers our website and business-enquiry correspondence. A specific service engagement may require additional privacy information.
1. Who we are
Asteriva Holdings Ltd, based in Cyprus, is the controller of personal information it receives and uses for its own business-enquiry and correspondence purposes. Contact us at info@asteriva.net with privacy questions or requests.
This notice concerns Asteriva’s processing. Your email, hosting or access provider may separately process information under its own privacy arrangements.
2. Information we receive
If you send an enquiry, we may receive your name, business email address, organisation, selected area of interest, preferred timeframe, message and any further information you choose to include in correspondence.
When you select “Send enquiry”, your form details are transmitted to our website and stored in an enquiry database for review by Asteriva. A successful submission displays a reference number. We retain the enquiry even if an email notification is unavailable. The copy-enquiry feature places the prepared text on your device’s clipboard only at your request.
Hosting and access providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, device or browser details and access-related information, to serve and protect the site. To limit automated or repeated submissions, the form also processes request identifiers and security hashes derived from your email address and, where available, IP address. Those hashes are used for short-term rate checks; older hashes are cleared during subsequent submission processing. Information you provide is voluntary, although sufficient contact and project details are needed to respond meaningfully.
3. Purposes & legal bases
We use correspondence to answer enquiries, understand a proposed project, arrange discussions, prepare proposals and manage business relationships.
Depending on the circumstances, the relevant GDPR basis is:
- Necessary steps you request before a contract, or performance of a contract with you.
- Our legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts, evaluating opportunities, administering relationships and protecting business interests, balanced against your rights.
- Compliance with applicable legal obligations where relevant to the records concerned.
- Consent where it is required for a specific optional use. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
An enquiry does not automatically enrol you in a marketing mailing list. This website does not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Recipients & providers
Information may be accessible to the people responsible for handling the enquiry and, where needed, to email, hosting, database, access and other business service providers supporting that activity. The website is hosted on Vercel. Enquiry records are processed through a server-side connection to our private Sites enquiry service and its Cloudflare database infrastructure. Where an email notification service is enabled, the enquiry is also processed by that service for delivery to Asteriva. Relevant information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities when required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Where a provider processes personal information on Asteriva’s instructions, applicable data-processing and confidentiality requirements govern that relationship. Providers acting for their own purposes are responsible for their own processing. We do not sell information submitted through a business enquiry.
5. International transfers
Electronic communications and service providers may involve processing in more than one country. Where Asteriva transfers personal information outside the European Economic Area and GDPR transfer rules apply, an appropriate legal mechanism is required, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with any necessary supplementary measures.
You may contact us for information about transfer safeguards relevant to Asteriva’s handling of your correspondence.
6. Retention & security
We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to address the enquiry, manage any resulting relationship, meet applicable record-keeping obligations and resolve relevant claims. Retention depends on the purpose, the status of the relationship and applicable legal requirements; it is not indefinite solely because you contacted us.
Website enquiry records are restricted to authorised owner access. The form uses transport encryption, server-side validation and measures to limit repeated submissions. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed entirely secure. Initial enquiries can provide a general overview, with sensitive project materials exchanged under appropriate arrangements.
8. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccuracies, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
Send requests to info@asteriva.net. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. GDPR requests are normally answered within one month; if an extension is permitted, we will explain it within that period.
You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent supervisory authority. Contacting us first is optional.
9. Updates & contact
We may revise this notice to reflect changes in the website or our processing. The date above identifies the current version. This site is intended for professional business enquiries and is not directed at children.
